Transforming bamboo into fabric is one of the most sustainable, eco-friendly options for textiles. Bamboo grows rapidly and needs very little water. Fabric made from bamboo is called "bamboo viscose." Bamboo viscose is created from natural materials. It is made by extracting cellulose from wood pulp. The natural fibers can then be mechanically combed out and spun into yarn. The bamboo used to create Nature to Nurture’s bamboo throw blankets come from organically-sourced bamboo and are processed without harmful chemicals.
